Show Us Your UG Finds: Share Your Uranium Glass Pieces & Stories!
I know there is a massive, passionate community of "glow hunters" out there, and it’s time to showcase your absolute best finds on this blog.
🔦 What Am I Looking For?
Everything and anything that glows! Whether you have a massive, curated display cabinet worth thousands of dollars, or just one single, lucky thrift store find that you bought for two bucks—I want to see it.
- Antique Dinnerware: Plates, goblets, and juicers from the Depression era.
- Rare Art Glass: Burmese, Custard, or Jadeite pieces.
- Jewelry & Oddities: Rings, beads, figurines, or even clock dials.
📖 It’s Not Just About the Glass; It’s About the Hunt
Any collector knows that half the thrill is the hunt itself. That’s why I don’t just want your photos; I want your stories. Did you find your piece buried under a pile of junk at a flea market? Is it a family heirloom passed down from your great-grandmother? Did you accidentally discover it glowed when you brought it to a cosmic bowling alley? (Yes, that actually happens!).
Tell me the story behind your treasure. How did you acquire it? What was your reaction when you first hit it with a blacklight?
📸 How to Submit Your Pieces for the Blog
I will be putting together dedicated "Community Showcase" articles featuring your collections. If you want to be featured, it’s incredibly simple.
Just send an email to uraniumglassglow92@gmail.com with the subject line "My Glow Share", and include the following:
- The Photos: Please send at least two clear photos of your item. One in normal ambient daylight, and one showing off that spectacular UV glow in the dark.
- The Story: Write a short paragraph telling me what the item is, where you found it, and any history you know about it.
- Your Credit: Let me know how you’d like to be credited! Include your first name, or your Instagram/TikTok handle so I can link back to you and show your profile some love.
